6 Small Kitchen Appliances I Found at Costco (Plus My Pick)

Every time I walk into Costco, I tell myself I'm not buying another appliance. And every time, something catches my eye and proves me wrong.

I don't have much room left in my kitchen, and I'm not one for clutter. The next few items I choose have to be worth the space and, most importantly, useful.

If you're anything like me, you have probably stood in that same aisle talking yourself into (or out of) something.

So, this time, I took a closer look at what Costco actually had to offer.

I narrowed it down to six small appliances that caught my attention, and I'm sharing my honest thoughts on each one, including the one I'm bringing home next.

1. Ninja Flip 10-in-1 Countertop Oven

The Ninja Flip 10-in-1 Countertop Oven air fries, bakes, broils, toasts, and even dehydrates. And when you're done, it flips straight up against the wall, so it's not hogging counter space.

Whether you have a family of four or less, it can cook most foods in 20 minutes and gives you ten different ways to prepare them.

What stood out to me is that this seems like one of those appliances you'd actually use often, rather than something that ends up sitting in the back of a cabinet, especially with so many cooking options built into one machine.

You can use it for a quick breakfast, dinner, or even when you want to try something different, like dehydrating your own food.

For me, that's what makes it worth a closer look.

2. Brio 740i Nugget Ice Maker

Not only does the Brio 740i Nugget Ice Maker look great on any countertop, but you no longer have to stop at your favorite restaurant just for the ice.

You know those days when you're craving the ice more than the soda? Well, those days are gone.

This makes up to 44 pounds of nugget ice, so if you're someone who goes through a lot of ice, this could definitely come in handy.

And based on my research, it looks pretty easy to maintain because it has a self-cleaning feature. No one wants to make all this good ice only to have it sit in a machine with nasty buildup.

I like that this is one of those appliances that can make your everyday drinks feel a little more enjoyable, without the hassle most ice makers come with.

If you're a nugget ice lover, this one will catch your attention.

3. Ninja SLUSHI Professional Frozen Drink Maker

I feel like I see the Ninja SlUSHI Professional Frozen Drink Maker everywhere online, and rightfully so.

Walking up to it at Costco, I was sold on the appearance alone. When they said "professional," they meant it. This thing really lives up to the hype.

What makes it even more appealing is that you don’t need ice to make your favorite frozen drinks. You can literally toss your ingredients in, and the SLUSHI does the rest.

No more runs to the gas station for your favorite slushie, and if you're someone who buys these drinks often, making them yourself could definitely save you some money.

And it doesn’t stop at slushies. You can also make frappes, milkshakes, and frozen juice with the different settings.

For Costco members, they’re adding an additional 96-ounce capacity and two insulated cups to get you started.

So, run, don’t walk, if you’ve been thinking about getting one of these!

4. Gourmia Soft Serve Ice Cream and Frozen Drink Maker

If you ever get tired of the kids begging for ice cream, the Gourmia Soft Serve Ice Cream and Frozen Drink Maker will probably be your top summer pick.

This machine makes frozen treats in just 30 minutes, which is perfect when you want something sweet after dinner without making a trip to your favorite ice cream shop.

It even has a setting that keeps your treat chilled for up to three hours, which could come in handy when you have guests over and want everything ready ahead of time.

Like the Ninja SLUSHI, this machine has several settings, so you can make more than just ice cream. It also makes sorbet, slush, and other frozen treats.

I like the idea of having something like this at home during the summer.

Instead of everyone asking, "Can we go get ice cream?" you get to use the classic parent line, "We have ice cream at home," and actually mean it.

5. Ninja Crispi 5-in-1 Glass Air Fryer

If you're looking for a compact appliance that also keeps your health in mind, the Ninja Crispi 5-in-1 Glass Air Fryer checks both boxes.

The glass is what makes this system stand out to me. Instead of cooking in a traditional air fryer basket, you can actually see your food as it cooks.

When you're done, you can put the top on it and store your food without moving everything into another container. I like anything that makes cleanup a little easier.

And don't let the compact design fool you; it's large enough to feed up to six family members.

In true Ninja fashion, they made sure you can do more than one thing with this machine. It can recrisp, bake, Max Crisp, and keep your food warm.

For a countertop appliance, the combination of the glass design, size, and different cooking functions makes it one of the more versatile picks on this list.

6. FoodSaver Preserve Vacuum Sealer

Let's be honest, food waste adds up fast, and this one's built to fix that.

When I saw the FoodSaver Preserve Vacuum Sealer, I knew I had to add it to the list. It's not just about saving food; it's about keeping what we do buy safe for our families.

This system removes air from the bag to help prevent freezer burn and preserve freshness, so you can get more out of the food you already have.

This brand also considered every angle when it comes to the different types of food you may want to preserve. It has settings for dry and moist foods, as well as pulse, sous vide, and marinate.

And one thing I really like is the pre-cut bag feature.

Instead of guessing how many bags you need and potentially wasting more than necessary, you can use only what you need. It's a small feature, but when the goal is to save food and money, those little things matter.

If you're trying to waste less and stretch your grocery budget, this one earns its spot.

So, after going back and forth, I finally made my decision…

I absolutely loved all six appliances, but I had to be a grown-up and choose something I know I need versus a “nice-to-have” product.

I really do enjoy cooking, but I’m trying to step my game up when it comes to finding or creating recipes that allow me to cook faster on busy days.

Air frying seems to be the best bet for me because your girl likes a little crisp to her food, and I know this Ninja Crispi 5-in-1 Glass Air Fryer will do its job.

Plus, I like that it’s compact enough to fit into my kitchen without taking up a ton of space.

So, very soon, I’ll be making this purchase.

Now, the real question is whether I can resist going back for one of the other five.
